Trevor and Nina are a married couple from New York's high society. He's a prominent gynecologist, she the owner and head chef of a renowned Italian restaurant. However, their marriage is far from ideal. The reason is a prenuptial agreement tougher than American football rules: the spouse who files for divorce will lose all assets, which automatically go to the other. It's Christmas, and Trevor and Nina are hosting their traditional party. The only invited guests are the somewhat eccentric couple Imelda and Arthur. At first glance, it might seem like a rather dull party, except for one tiny clause in their prenuptial agreement: the spouse proven to be unfaithful by the other can file for divorce and claim all assets. The Christmas party thus turns into a divorce battlefield.
