ON THE SUMMER STAGE: SILENCE IS GOLDEN

Not every truth is pleasant, so why flaunt it!

Gaspard and Clémence are relatively young seniors with a very decent pension. They live in a beautiful apartment, and aside from occasional minor tiffs, which are just expressions of their temperament, everything is as it should be. Their son Lucas married the beautiful Manon and they have a little son Robert, whom the parents occasionally babysit. All of this was until the day when, in front of the parents, there is a fierce argument between Lucas and Manon. Manon, it turns out, has a lover and is going on vacation with him.

When the young couple leaves, a debate ensues between the married partners on what to do next. Should Lucas get a divorce? Gaspard is in favor, Clémence is against. It doesn't take long before opinions are exchanged more and more quickly, leading to a certain verbal awkwardness and long-carefully hidden secrets come to light. Shock, amazement, astonishment.....

It is always wise to avoid certain things. Not every truth is pretty and can hurt. So why flaunt it.
